Pearlware Chicken Figurine

This is a fun pearlware figurine of a chicken made in the Staffordshire region in the early 19th century. Can't recall ever having seen a chicken but it certainly is a great figure to look at! The bird is superbly modeled and hand painted. The piece stand on a typical square base with a black line along the sides. The figurine is in great condition with a minor rough spot to the beak and a flake to the bottom edge of the base original to the making. As is normal the figurine is not marked. The piece is 3.375 inches tall and the base is about 1.75 inches square. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
