Cauliflower Teacaddy

This is a superb tea jar made by one of the Staffordshire makers around 1760. It is an early creamware version and has some superb detail to it with the top part being the actual white cauliflower and the bottom the green leaves around it. The green is a very nice color and quite transparent! The caddy is about 4.25 inches tall and is about 3 inches from side to side. It is in great condition with a a little chipping to the top rim, a small hairline from the top rim and off course it is missing the lid which seems to be the norm on these pieces. A few firing / paste flaws in the form of extra paste in two areas which is also normal. The pot is off course unmarked which makes it very hard to ID further but maybe the three stilt marks underneath help someone that knows this subject a bit better than me. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
