Angel with Fruit Figurine

This is a great figurine of an angel holding a bsket full of fruit made in the Staffordshire region around 1800. The figurine is really well done with the colorful fruit in the basket being my favorite. She is made of Creamware which looks superb and is very light. The figurine is about 7 inches tall with the base being about 2.5 inches on each side. The figure is in great condition with a small chip to the right side of the bonnet a glaze chip to one finger, a spot on the udnerside of the basket and one fruit and a chip to the left side of the base. None of these take away from the piece and it displays superbly! The figurine is marked with a red anchor mark which is a bit odd since it obviously wasn't made by Chelsea but maybe someone back then tried to pull a fast one :) Please email me for more information or other pictures.
