Nice Spode Reticulated Chestnut Basket

This is a Spode porcelain chestnut basket made in the very early 19th century around 1810. The sides are reticulated with a nice hand painted gold, black and red design to the inside, two branch handles with a bit of gilding to them and some gold trim to the edges and outside parts of the reticulation. A nice blakc and gold floral design to the bottom inside. A very well modeled and hand painted piece! This basket is in superb condition with one hairline on the side in between the branch handle terminals a shown. Some minor wear to the gilding along the top edge. It is contained and won't do anything else and the piece displays perfectly! The basket is 2.125 inches tall, 8.125 inches wide and 5.375 inches deep. It is marked with the impressed SPODE mark as shown which is nice since these were often unmarked. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
