Spode Fruit Scene Pedestal Dish

This is a superb handled pedestal serving dish probably made by Spode in the early 19th century . Definitely English from this period. The dish has a nice shape to it with a handle to either side that is gilded, a relief molded design all around the interior rim and around the foot. Gold trim to the edges and a really nice fruit still life scene to the bottom inside including fruits, nuts, grapes, berries and leaves. A really nice piece to look at and amazingly it is in great condition with just a bit of wear, a firing crack to either handle and a glazed over manufacturing flaw on the edge of the foot. The piece is about 5.625 inches tall including the handles, 10.5 inches wide and 7.375 inches deep. It is not marked so I am not 100% positive it is by Spode but it is English from the early 1800s!
