Dollhouse Pattern Eggring

This is a very scarce egg ring (kind of like an egg cup but different looking) made in England around 1800. It is made of bone china I believe and probably in the Staffordshire region but possibly by Spode or a number of other makers. This pattern was very popular around that time. It is handpainted with the dollhouse pattern in red and blue with a nice yellowish trim to the top and bottom rims. The piece is in perfect condition besides a teeny chip to the top rim. A little paint over that and you will never know it was there and it might actually be from the making! It is not marked but that isn't unusual at all just makes it more difficult to figure out who made it so I will leave it up to you guys :) The eggring is just over 1.625 inches tall, the top diameter is 1.875 inches (outside) and the bottom diameter is 1.75 inches (outside). Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $149
