Seger Vase

This is a rare vase made by Seger porcelain later owned by KPM around 1919. It is handpainted with one of his dual layer crackle glazes. The top layer is an olive green and the bottom layer that shows through the cracks in a nice red. There is relief decoration that was highlighted in gold as well. The vase is 7.5 inches tall, 5.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter with the letters S.g.r.P. underneath. Also an impressed S over 25 and a golden 48 and some other mark that looks like RF or Af in gold - probably the painters mark. It is in perfect condition with some wear to the gilding.
