Quail Figurine

This is a figurine of a quail made by the Schwarzburger Werkstaetten in the early 20th century when it was first designed. A very lifelike piece that is superbly modeled and perfectly hand painted in very naturalistic colors to look almost real. The piece is in perfect condition. It is 6.625 inches tall, 2.625 inches wide and about 4.75 inches long. The bird is marked with the blue fox mark as well as the impressed stamp stating Schwarzburger Werkstaetten fuer Porzellankunst. An impressed model number 1344 and Made in Germany in black script. The top edge has an impressed ASt for the artist Arthur Storch . Please email me for more information or other pictures.
