Pair of Birds Figurine

This is a fun figurine of a pair of birds (no idea what kind) made by the Schwarzburger Werkstaetten in the early 20th century when it was first designed. That means it is one of the rare original pieces and not a later copy! The figure is superbly modeled and hand painted in very naturalistic colors typical of this maker. The piece is in perfect condition. It is 4.5 inches tall, 5.375 inches wide and 3 inches deep. The pair is marked with the impressed fox mark as well as the impressed model number U 1047 .
