Art Nouveau Madonna Figurine

This is an unglazed porcelain figurine made by the Schwarzburger Werkstaetten in the early 20th century when she was first designed. That means she is one of the rare original pieces and not a later Volkstedt re-issue. It is of the Madonna modeled in a whole new way. Actually she is the nicest one I have ever seen! Superbly modeled with an Art Nouveau dress with lots of amazing detail! The figure is in perfect condition and the larger version which is nice. She is 12.25 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 2.375 inches deep. The piece is marked with the underglaze blue fox mark as well as U 676 and also the impressed stamp stating Schwarzburger Werkstaetten fuer Porzellankunst. On the side of the base we find the artist initials impressed - TML or something like that and on the front IMMACULATA. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
