Asian Man Figurine

This is a figurine made by the Schwarzburger Werkstaetten around 1925 when he was first designed. A very typical figurine for them in the style and coloration of the Art Nouveau period. It is an Asian man dressed in a colorful outfit with a nice hat, a floral shirt and red pants. The piece is in great condition except his right hand was cleanly broken off and was reglued by me. Very hard to see. The piece is 10.125 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 3 inches deep. He is marked with the blue fox mark as well as the impressed model number U545 underneath. An impressed #3 and also the the impressed stamp stating Schwarzburger Werkstaetten fuer Porzellankunst. The stamp was ground out mostly and the fox has a slash through it denoting a second choice piece. He has a hard to see flaw by his groin which matters very little when on display if at all. On the side of the base we find the artist name impressed - H.M. for Hugo Meisel . Please email me for more information or other pictures.
