Mauritius Pfeiffer Figurine #2

This is a figurine made by the Schwarzburger Werkstätten für Porzellankunst in the early 20th century when it was first designed. He was modeled by Mauritius Pfeiffer who originally was a sculptor I believe. His pieces are extremely collectible and are quite Art Nouveau! The figurine is of a man holding a top hat in his right hand with a horn of plenty filled with flowers by his side. In German this piece is titled "Der Gratulant" - the congratulator. He is nicely modeled in the typical fashion of this superb maker. Simple yet very elegant. The piece is in perfect condition. It is 8.75 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide and 3.125 inches deep. The figure is marked with the impressed fox mark as well as U258 which is the model number underneath. Also the impressed stamp stating Schwarzburger Werkstaetten fuer Porzellankunst and in blue made in Germany. The back of the base is incised with the artist name - Mauritius Pfeiffer. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $749
