The figure is of a lady looking down her nightgown with the gap being exagerated as to let the owner of this piece look down her front to see her exposed breast and from below her lower private area. Often called an amazing miniature figurine inspecting her frontage but let's call it what it is - 19th century porcelain porn :) A nicely modeled piece that is hand painted with nice detail - especially the base with that foot stool behind her. I am amazed that that sould fire that thin nightgown like this without it causing problems during the firing process but it worked. The figurine is in perfect condition with some small black firing spot from when she was made. Some very minor wear but she displays perfectly! This particular piece is not marked but there are some out there with an impressed mark. The figurine is 3.25 inches tall, 1.625 inches wide and 1.25 inches deep.
