Smaller Factory Floral Plate #2

This is a porcelain plate made in Russia in the early 19th century or maybe before that. I am unsure as to the exact maker but likely one of the smaller private factories like Safronow , Nassanow , Wsewoloshski , Poliwanow , etc. The plate is naively hand painted with a large floral arrangement in the center filling most of the well of the plate as well as three flowers to the rim. Nice edge with a "pearl" design to it.The plate displays nicely but has some wear to the large purple tulip and some stray paint marks in an area of the rim. Definitely and early plate and by one of the lesser known makers. Still a really nice example and not something you will find often. Just wish I knew the exact maker of this piece. It is marked with an under glaze blue mark as shown kind of like a script E. but I am not sure so have a look at it. The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 8.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
