St. Petersburg Plate

This is a porcelain plate made for Alexander Alexandrovich (Alexander III) by the famous St. Petersburg factory in 1885. Very colorful and well painted with the letters AA under a crown in the center. The background color of the plate is a light yellow and it has some nice floral and gold garlands and colorful bows plus a fancy rim design in relief. Just a very nice plate and very rare. The plate is in great condition with a tiny bit of wear but imagine what these plates have been through over the last 120 years. No chips, hairlines, etc. It is marked with the green A under a crown with the III underneath as well as some green dots along the footring. It is about 9 inches in diameter.
