Rare Vase

This is a rare vase made by Royal Vienna in 1810. They must have not made many vases as I have rarely seen examples that were actually made at the real Vienna factory. It is a relaly nice piece that is hand painted with a nice scene in orange of a putti sitting in a cloud while holding a bow in his hand with a cloth places strategically around his mid section. The scene has a nice black and gold trim around it. The other side has a superb rose flowers arrangement to it with a bow and a flaming torch crossing each other, The scene is surrounded by the same gold and black trim. The foot, top and cover have a nice pruple ground color with a bit of gold trim to them and there is a gilded handle to either side. It's a stunning looking vase! The piece is in great condition with a tiny flat chip to the underside edge of the cover and the foot and main body connection is a bit lose. Seems like the old glue gave up and someone reglued it and made a little mess but I cleaned up one spot and the other spot seems to be just an unglazed area. Needs a bit of a cleaning around the shoulders which I will do. The vase with the lid in place is 5.125 inches tall and 2.875 inches in from handle to handle. Small but superb! The bottom is marked with the under glaze blue shield / beehive mark as well as the usual impressed numbers as shown including the year mark 810 for 1810, a 59 and a 19 or 61 as shown.
