Large Blue & Gold Saucer

This is a large porcelain saucer made by Royal Vienna in about 1809. Much larger than a normal saucer it is decorated with a superb cobalt blue ground color with some really nice gilding on top. It looks stunning! Not sure what it was for. The piece is in superb condition with just a minor touch of gold wear / use marks. It is 7.375 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches tall. Marked with the under glaze blue shield mark as well as an impressed number 809 for the year as well as a 59 and a gold 88 as shown. Please email me for more information or photos.
