Rosenthal Superb Clock

This is a really awesome clock where the procelain part is made by Rosenthal during the early 20th century - I think 1924 but this mark has an extra dot under the crown part I could not find. The piece is meant to be a table clock and is titled "The young Day". A truly superb Art Nouveau piece with some Art Deco influences already. From what I could find this clock was supposed to have been first designed by the famous Gustav Oppel in 1932 so something doesn't fit - either that date is wrong or my clock is a bit later. Either way it is from around when this piece was first designed! The clock has a nice Japanese influence base with some raised flowers to it on which the round clock sits. A putto blowing a hunting hor to one side and a semi nude lady on top with some more flowers under her feet. A truly spectacular piece! The dial is porcelain as well with the numbers raised and gilded. The clock parts are working - I had it serviced. The guy said it is not a high quality movement but it does the trick. One of the nicest clocks I have come across from this period! The clock displays perfectly but has a touch of wear to the gilding, the left index finger and the back corner of the right front leg have a pretty well done older restoration to them. A couple of tiny black firing specs common to these larger early peices. The piece has the modeleur's name OPPEL impressed in the back top base and it has the green Rosenthal mark underneath as well as the painter's name Schönenberg as shown. The entire piece is about 14 inches tall, 10.75 inches wide and 4.25 inches deep. I have a key for it though I have no idea if it is original. Same goes for the clock insides.
