Rosenthal Lady in Gown Figurine

This is a really nice figurine made by Rosenthal in 1944 if I read the mark correctly. Might explain why this decoration is so rare as it would have been made during the last year of the war. It is of a Crinoline lady wearing a superb ball gown. The figure was designed by Erna Freifrau von Langenmantel-Reitzenstein (there is a name!) in 1916. I always enjoyed this figure and is is not a rare one however it does come in different decorations and this one here one rarely ever sees. The gown is hand painted with a gold flower and leaf design that looks amazing on the green ground color. The figurine is superbly modeled as a court lady in the bend or curtsy position. The piece is in perfect condition which never hurts :) It is marked underneath with the green Rosenthal mark as shown as well as the model number 206, the word handgemalt for hand painted and a painter's mark in the form of a crescent. The figurine is 6.625 inches tall, 5.25 inches wide and 5 inches deep. Please email me for more information or photos.
