Rosenthal Pierrot

This is a superb figurine made by Rosenthal in about 1921. THe figure is of a kneeling female pierrot that is holding a floral bouquet in her right hand, her left hand over her heart and her mandolin behind her. Originally designed by Holzer Defanti during this period. The figurine is in perfect condition with minor gold wear. It is marked underneath with the green Rosenthal mark with Bavaria underneath as shown in the pictures and the impressed C-Holzer and model number 49 as well. A very early piece by a famous designer. The figurine is about 3.5 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 4.125 inches long. Please email me for more information or photos.
