Nice Rockingham Floral Tankard

This is a nice large tankard / mug / cup made by Rockingham in the first half of the 19th century. It is decorated with a superb reddish ground color with lots of nice gilding over that some of which has raised elements to it. The bes part however are those two panels with a hand painted floral scene on white ground including a bassket filled with flwoers surrounded by a fancy gold trim with four flower blossoms to the corners. A really well painted piece! Some more gold trim to the handle as well. As nice as they come and the piece is in superb condition with some of the usual fine crazing to the white areas. The gilding is still in amazing condition! A great looking piece of the perfect size to have your beer in :) The piece is not marked underneath except for some greenish smudges as shown. Not sure what that is all about. The tankard is 5.625 inches tall and 3.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
