Rauenstein Doll / Child Tea Pot

This is a small teapot with its lid from one of their famous doll / child sets made by Rauenstein in first half of the 19th century - probably close to 1850. The piece is hand painted with the famous under glaze blue strawflower design and the paste has the ribbed design to it quite typical for Thuringia area makers. The tea pot is marked underneath with the R-n. mark as shown. The piece is in perfect condition. It is 2.875 inches tall, 5.25 inches from handle to spout and 3 inches in diameter.
