Popov Everyday Service Plate

This is a superb plate made by Popov in the 19th century. Alexander Popoff founded the factory near Moscow in the early 19th century. The products from 1810 until 1830 were highly sought after which is when they produced the best quality wares. The factory was closed in 1872. The plates seems to have been made as a replacement piece for the famous Everyday Service of which most pieces were made by the St. Peterburg Imperial factory but I have also seen replacement pieces made by the Gardner factory. The plate is nicely hand painted with a nice floral arrangement in the center including a pink rose as well as an orange and purple flower. Three single flowers along the rim with a nice orange brown trim to the edge. The piece is 1.875 inches tall with a diameter of 9.25 inches. The plate displays perfectly but has three chips along the edge superbly restored. Almost invisible except for when you shine a bright light through it. Some wird scratches to the center only seen at the right angle to the light amost like sandpaper went over part of the center. Not sure why but I have seen that before on pieces. Never could figure out why. Maybe from getting rid of raised spots after the glaze firing before it was painted?! The plate is marked underneath with their blue AT looking mark as well as the black painter's mark as shown. Could be a '53 or EG depending on which way you look at it.
