Early Pirkenhammer Imari Plate

This is a rare early plate made by Pirkenhammer in the early 19th century btween 1810 and 1816 so in the very beginning of this company. It was located in which is now the Czech Republic . A Mr. Hoeke founded the factory around 1803 with the help of the Greiner family (from the Thuringia area). In about 1810 Christian Fischer & Reichenbach bought it and after 1845 Reichenbach was gone. They won a few very high prestige awards for their porcelain. The plate is decorated with a nice Imari style pattern including an under glaze blue leaf design with over glaze red flowers and gold details. The center has a Pagoda style building in blue and gold to it and the edge has scroll work highlighted with gilding. Reminds me very much of Worcester examples from the same period but this style was very much en vogue during this period. around 1815. The piece is in great condition but does have wear to the gilding mainly to the edge which is to be expected after 200 plus years. Still looks and displays superbly! The piece is marked with the impressed F & R for Fischer & Reichenbach and a Roman numeral VII as far as I can make it out above that. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and 7.375 inches in diameter.
