Pearlware Leaf Shaped Pickle Dish

This is a fun leaf shaped pearlware pickle dish made in the Staffordshire region in the late 18th or early 19th century. Not something you see often especially in good condition. It is nicely modelled in the shape of a leaf with veins in relief to the paste and some highlighted in under glaze blue with more blue trim to the edge. Some nice detail to it! The dish is in great condition with two of the pointy pieces on the very edge having been chipped. Nothing obvious and it displays very nicely! The piece is not marked udnerneath which is very normal! The pickle dish is 1.125 inches tall, 4.625 inches long and 4.25 inches wide. A really fun piece to look at!
