Zuegel Cat Figurine

This is a superb figurine of a white cat made by Nymphenburg in the middle of the 20th century right after WWII. It was first designed by Willy Zuegel who is better known for Niki the terrier dog or the sitting polar bear he did. This cat here is another great example of this superb artist! One of the nicest cats I have ever seen in porcelain and difficult to find. Very well modeled and painted just enough to make it look real with those large eyes :) The kitty is just over 4 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 7.75 inches long so a nice size. It is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the model number 994 over 8 and the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg and Western Germany . The figure is in perfect condition same as the day it left the factory. The artist name is impressed in the tail as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
