Blanc de Chine Bowing Monk Figurine

This is a monk figurine made by Nymphenburg in the beginning of the 20th century. I have owned the colored version a few times and it is one of my favorites but this one here is teh blanc de Chine version left in the white to show off all that amazing modeling that Bustelli did on his figures in the 18th century . He was amazing! The monk is bowing down with one hand on his head. The figure is amazingly modeled as Bustelli is still consdered the greatest modeler of all time. The monk is wearing a flowing outfit with lots of details. Simple yet full of movement and elegance. The figurine is 5.625 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 3.75 inches deep. He is in perfect condition! The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark on top of the base and underneath as well as the impressed numbers 154 and 0. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
