Wackerle Lidded Vase #2

This is a lidded container / jar / vase made by Nymphenburg during the Jugendstil / Art Nouveau period of the early 20th century. The painting was designed by Prof. Josef Wackerle in Munich during this period. The vase is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement all around with a yellow butterfly hidden in one spot, more flowers to the top of the lid and a green line design going from the bottom to the top. It's a superb looking piece! These lidded pieces are very collectable and they come in different designs and sizes. The vase is marked underneath with the green shield mark with Nymphenburg underneath, a green 37., P. Wackerle and NB 46 as shown. There is a spot of dirt in the pics from an old label I did not notice until I wrote this - I cleaned it off! The piece is in perfect condition which is not that common especially with the lid which is often missing. The vase is 5.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
