Toucan Bird Figurine

This is a really fun and superb figurine of a Toucan made by Nymphenburg around the mid 20th century. Originally designed by the famous Luise Terletzki-Scherf in about 1930 this is one colorful and well modeled figurine! I like this bird in real life anyway but it looks just as fun in porcelain in this case! The figure is in perfect condition, It is marked on the back of the base with the impressed shield mark with the impressed letter LTS next to it though it is hard to see. Underneath there is another impressed shield mark, the numbers 721 over 3 and the green shield mark as shown. The piece is 4.875 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. Price is $699
