Large Dog Figurine

This is a figure of a dog made by Nymphenburg in the early to mid 20th century. I do believe it is a terrier but am somewhat clueless in the dog department :) Either way he is superbly modeled (just look at the fur!) and painted just right to make him very elegant. The dog is 8.625 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 8.75 inches long. Marked twice - with the impressed shield mark, once with the incised numbers 628 and 3 and once with the green shield mark under the crown with the word Nymphenburg underneath. He is in perfect condition with a teeny firing crack on the tip of the tail not easily seen. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
