Superb Figurine of Athena

This is a really nice figurine of Athena made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. She is superbly modeled staning on a base holding a spear and a shield with the head of Medusa (I believe) on it. Her dress is the nicest version they made and it is stunning! The base is really nice as well with the Bavarian shield to the front and three floral arrangements to the other sides. A really nice figure that looks great in my cabinet. The piece is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark and has the impressed numbers 637a over 31 as well as some other painted numbers and letters as shown. The figure is 7.25 inches tall, 2.125 inches wide and deep. The piece displays perfectly but the spear has been perfectly restored - it had a break between her hand and the green tassle. Impossible to spot - perfectly done! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
