St. Bernard Dog Figurine

This is a hard to find dog figurine made by Nymphenburg during the early 20th century. It is of a St. Bernard (I think). The figure is nicely modeled and is painted to perfection as one expects from this maker. Lots of detail! I think they make the best animal figurines in the porcelain world. The figurine is about 3.875 inches tall, 4.5 inches deep and 8 inches long. The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the impressed number 509 (the middle number is hard to read) and a number 1. The piece is in perfect condition and super cute!
