Sieck Lidded Vase

This is a lidded vase made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It was painted by the famous Rudolf Sieck with some superb flowers (Indian cress) as well as one buttefrfly all around. Nice gold trim to top and bottom as well. These lidded vases are very collectable and they come in different designs and sizes. The vase is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark, an impressed number 23, the green shield mark with Nymphenburg underneath, the artist name Rud. Sieck, O.H. 535 and a black 24. The piece is in perfect condition which is not that common especially with the lid which is often missing. The vase is 7 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.
