Superb Scenic Serving Dish

This is a really nice large serving dish made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It has a handle to each side and is shaped like an oval bowl. The piece has a nice shape to it with a superb hand painted scene in the center in mostly green tones surrounded by a floral and leaf design with gilding to either side. The side of the dish has a green and gold leaf garland going around and the reticulated handles have some nice gilding to them as well. Really a stunningly beautiful piece based on an 18th century original. The piece is 2.75 inches tall, 12.25 inches wide and 9 inchesdeep. Marked with the green shield mark with Nymphenburg underneath, impressed numbers 3 and letter h plus the impressed shield mark as well. The dish is in perfect condition and comes with its original box which is still in nice shape as well. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
