Siamese Dancer Figurine

This is a rare figurine of a Thai Siamese dancer made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. This is from a series of international figures that you never see pieces from. They are very rare. This piece here is of a Thai Siam Dancer lady wearing a superb outfit with the typical head gear in the middle of a dance. A superbly modelled piece that is marked with the impressed shield mark to the top of the base by her foot. The figure looks super elegant! I own one other piece from this series - a Chinese gentleman drinking tea which I also listed on the site. The piece is 8.25 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 3 inches deep. She is in perfect condition. The figurine is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath as well as the impressed numbers 963 and over 0 as well as the green shield under a crown with the word Nymphenburg underneath it as shown.
