Rare Large Satire Mask Vase #1

This is a very rare lrage version of the satire urn / vase on a nice base made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It has the Bavarian shield in relief in the front bottom edge of the pedestal base and an urn on top of that pedestal. It's all fired as one piece so does not come apart! The urn / vase part has devil heads aka satire masks as the handles on the sides and some nice relief decoration to it. The base has relief leaf designs to the corners. Looks amazing and it's a piece that is quite popular among collectors! This larger version is very hard to find! The vase is in perfect condition with jsut a small firing flaw to the back center of the vase as shown from when it was made. The bottom is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as their green shield mark under a crown with Nymphenburg under it and Western Germany under that. Impressed numbers 734 over 8 and a Roman numeral II as shown. The entire piece is 8.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. A nice size to actually use unlike the smaller version! And to make it even better I have a matching second piece on the site if anyone is interested in a rare pair of these fun vases! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
