Guinea Fowl

This is a figure of a guinea fowl made by Nymphenburg in 1914. One of Kaerners most famous creations in the Art Nouveau period. This is the largest animal he designed, as far as I know, being 9.5 inches tall, 11.5 inches long and 5.5 inches wide. It is in perfect condition same as the day it was made. There is some manufacturing painting flaw underneath the neck but that is normal with these large pieces. Even the ones in the museums have firing cracks, so this one is actually in better shape. It is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as the numbers 2 over 494. Signed by the artist who painted it F.C. and the year 1914. It should be Fernand Clémand who worked at Nymphenburg from 1912 to 1918. A very rare piece from the original period it was designed in. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
