Black & Puce Tea Set for 6

This is a really nice tea set for 6 made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. All the pieces are superbly hand painted with large floral arrangements in puce with some having small single flowers as well. Each piece has a black ground color to the other areas with some puce trim. That black, white and puce color combination looks amazing! One of my favorite designs that just doesn't get old. The only combo I like better is the cobalt blue and gold. The set is in superb condition with one tiny chip to the point jutting out in the center of the handle on one of the cups - not noticeable unless you look / feel for it. The tea pot handle has a hairline across the bottom terminal and the finial has been reglued perfectly. That's it. The rest of the pieces are in excellent condition! The set consists of a large tea pot, a sugar dish with its lid, a creamer, six cups and saucers and six dessert plates. All pieces are marked as shown. All have the green shield with the word Nymphenburg underneath, most have a set of puce numbers, some have impressed shield marks and some have impressed numbers. The tea pot is 5.5 inches tall, 10.5 inches from spout to handle and 6 inches in diameter. The cups are 2 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter. The saucers are 1.125 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. The creamer is 3.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 4.75 inches from handle to spout. The sugar dish is 3.75 inches tall and 3.625 inches in diameter. The plates are 0.75 inches tall and have a diameter of 7.5 inches. An amazing set that is very hard to find.
