Hunter w/ Falcon Figurine

This is a figure of a falconer made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It is of a hunter holding his falcon in one hand and the little feather on a string piece in the other he uses to bring the bird back to him when it is flying around. The figurine is superbly modelled with lots of detail including a fancy jacket, a hunting horn and a bag while standing on a nice base with a small tree stump on it. Hand painted with lots of nice details to it. The figurine is 8.875 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep. The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath the base, an impressed number 536 over 9 as well as the green shield mark with the name Nymphenburg under it as shown. The figurine is in perfect condition which is very rare as either the birds wings or the feathers in his hand or that loop in the same hand are almost always damaged. A really nice figurine especially the bird! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
