Pure Bread Horse Figurine #2

This is a superb painted figurine of a young Arabian stallion made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. It was first designed by Theodor Kärner in 1909. The piece is amazingly modeled and painted to perfection - I do believe that Nymphenburg animals are the best there are in the porcelain world. Stunning the way it stands on the rectangular base! The figure is 7.75 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and about 8.25 inches long so a nice size. It is marked with the impressed and painted blue shield mark to the top side of the base, another impressed shield mark underneath with the incised model number 457 and 5 as shown. Artist initials J.H. to the back of the base as shown. The figure is in perfect condition same as the day it left the factory with a few tiny manufacturing flaws common to early Nymphenburg animals. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
