Polychrome Cockatoo / Parrot Figurine

This is a figurine of a cockatoo / parrot bird made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. It is really nicely modeled sitting on a tree stump with a branch with its leaves coming out the front and hand painted elegantly with nice colors> The figure is just plain cute. The colorful plumage of the head feathers and the ends of the wings and tail are stunning! The piece is 7.625 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep. Marked with the impressed shield mark to the edge of the base as well as udnerneath as well as numbers 413b and 11. Also a large incised X. The figurine is in superb condition.
