Pink Orchid & Hummingbird Figurine

This is a superb figurine of a hummingbird with a pink orchid flower made by Nymphenburg around the mid 20th century.The flower comes out of a flower pot filled with what looks to be soil with the humming bird flying in from below in between the leaves. An amazing piece and one of my favorite ones they ever designed. There are a few differnt ones of these that they made and I have them all on my site as well. Also one of the hardest to find in perfect condition due to the obviously fragile nature of this figure! An extremely well modeled piece and painted to perfection that just looks fun in your display case! The figure is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark, the numbers 859 over 8 and the green shield mark under a crown with Nymphenburg underneath it as shown.
