Penguin on Lily Pad

This is a figure of a baby duck or penguin sitting on a lily pad made by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century right after WWII. One of the cuter pieces they made and a personal favorite of mine :) Also one of the harder to find pieces! The figure is 1.75 inches tall, 3.125 inches wide and 3.75 inches deep. Marked with the impressed shield mark as well as the artist monogram on the side of the lily pad, another impressed shield mark underneath with the model number 2081 over 8 as well as the green shield mark under a crown over the word Nymphenburg and Western Germany under that. Ex.456 in green and some artist initials. More marks under this piece than most so might be a very early example of this model. It is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
