Pair of Figural Candlesticks

This is a superb pair of figural candlesticks made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. They are of a kneeling lady holding a planter or pot in front of them. Extremely well modeled and very elegant especially as a pair. I really like their blanc de chine pieces because the modeling is so superb. Each figure is 5.5 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 4 inches long. The candleholders are marked with the impressed shield mark on top of the base by their back foot as well as on the underside with the impressed model number 939 a & b over 0 and the green shield mark with the name Nymphenburg underneath as shown.
