Cockatoo Pair Figurine

This is a figurine of a pair of cockatoo birds made by Nymphenburg during the early 20th century. The parrot group was deisgned by Wilhelm Neuhäuser in 1910 and his initials are impressed in the back of the base between their tails. The piece is superbly modeled and painted in underglaze colors typical of the Art Nouveau period. The figure is about 11.75 inches tall, 7.75 inches wide and 8.75 inches deep so fairly large. The figure is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath as well as the incised numbers 499 (I think) and 2. There is another impressed sheild in the front of the base that has been colored blue. The piece is in perfect condition and quite heavy. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
