Scenic Satire Urn

This is a vase or urn on a pedestal made by Nymphenburg around 1900. It has the Bavarian shield in relief in the front of the pedestal and flowers on the other three sides. The urn has devil heads as the handles on the sides and some nice relief decoration but the best part is that is has a handpainted scene on the front of a cherub on a cloud holding a lit torch with a bow and quiver full of arrows behind him. Some flowers on the other side of the vase. This type of decoration is very rare on these little pieces and all of them were special order pieces! The vase is in perfect condition and is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark though it is very faint and hard to see and there is also part of an impressed number. The vase is 5.25 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
