Polychrome Juno w/ Peacock Figurine

This is a rare polychrome figurine of the goddess juno with her peacock by her side made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. Nicely modeled with the putto sitting on a cloud with a cloth wrapped around her middle and flowing out the side. Amazing how Bustelli caught the movement so well in his figures! The cloth is strategically covering her mid section and she has a flower in her hair. The peacock is superbly painted as well! It is quite hard to find these painted versions nowadays! The figure is 4.25 inches tall, 4.25 inches wide and 3.375 inches deep. The figure is marked with the painted shield to the front of the base and the impressed shield mark on the underside as well as the impressed model number 96 over 3. The figurine is in great condition with the leaf of the flower in her hair chipped. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
