Original Standing French Bulldog

This is a figure of a french bulldog made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. I recently sold the sitting version and was excited to replace him with this piece. A superbly modelled piece that is painted to perfection! A truly elegant dog and not one you see often at all and almost never from the original period! He is 6.375 inches tall, 7.25 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. The dog is in perfect condition, same as the day he was made. He (and it is a he!) is marked with the impressed shield mark as well as the incised numbers 648 over 9 underneath. Also marked with the artist initials hidden on his right back paw as shown.
