Original German Sphepherd Dog Figurine #2

This is a figurine of a German Shepherd made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century. It is the painted version and from the original period which is hard to find! The dog is superbly modeled and painted and one of my favorites from Nymphenburg. He is in the same condition as the day he was made :) The figurine is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark and the numbers 5 and incised 398 as well as the modelers name Th. Kaerner one of the top animal designers to ever have lived! He also has the painter's initials on his behind J.H. The piece is 5.25 inches tall, 9.75 inches long and 4.75 inches deep.
