Commedia Dell Arte Scaramouche

This is a figure of Scaramuz or Scaramouche made by Nymphenburg around 1900. He is one of the commedia dell'arte figurines - one of the greatest set of figurines ever designed by Bustelli. He is probably the most normal of all the characters which doesn't say much :) Superbly modeled with a nice pose and lots of detail left in the white to show it off perfectly! The figure has the impressed shield mark on top of the base behind his legs as well as underneath and the impressed number 240 over 0. He is in perfect condition even all the little bows are fine which is rare! The figurine is 7.625 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 5.75 inches deep.
